Call or Email
Phone us weekdays during business hours. Tell us what you need, how many people, how long you'll need it, where it goes, and we'll walk through your options. Email works too if you'd rather describe the job in writing. Either way, we're here to answer questions about portable toilet rental, dumpster sizes, septic pumping, restroom trailers, storage containers, temporary fencing and handwashing stations. We rent to construction crews, events, farms and homeowners doing renovations.
We serve Ames and nearby towns including Gilbert (7.0 miles north), Nevada (9.7 miles east), Huxley (10.2 miles south), Boone (16.6 miles west) and Ankeny (24.7 miles south). If you're not sure whether we reach your location, ask. We handle OSHA portable toilet requirements for job sites, including the count rules under OSHA 1926.51(c) that spell out how many units a crew needs based on worker count.
Get a Quote
Use our online form to request a quote. Tell us your dates, location in Ames and what you're renting. Include details that matter: is the site a construction project, a wedding, a festival or a farm? Do you need ADA accessible units? Will the unit sit on gravel, pavement or grass? Are there any access limits we should know about, tight alleys, gates, steep grades? The more you tell us, the faster we can price it and check our schedule.
Pricing depends on rental length and unit type. A standard porta potty holds 60 to 70 gallons and costs less per day than renting by the week or month. Deluxe flushable models run higher. ADA accessible units meet ADA Standards section 213.2 requiring at least one accessible unit in any cluster. We also rent roll-off dumpsters, grease trap pumping for restaurants and food service, and restroom trailers for events needing more than a few units.

Placement and Delivery
Once we quote you, we'll schedule delivery. Tell us where the unit goes and whether you need help with placement. A standard unit sits about 44 by 48 inches on the ground and stands 92 inches tall. A roll-off dumpster delivery needs about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck to set it down safely. If your Ames location is tight, we'll work with you on options.
We handle emergency rentals too. If you need a unit fast, call and tell us the situation. Placement in the public right of way needs confirming with the city. For porta potty permit requirements or municipal rules specific to Ames, reach out and we'll point you in the right direction.
How do I know how many units I need?
Use our guide to calculating units or call us with your worker count and job length. OSHA 1926.51(c) sets the baseline: one toilet for 20 workers or fewer, then one toilet and one urinal per 40 workers above that up to 200, then one per 50 at 200 or more.
Can I rent for just a weekend?
Yes. We offer daily, weekend and weekly rates. Weekend pricing is higher than daily; weekly rates are lower per day. Call for specific dates and we'll quote you.
What if I need a longer rental?
Monthly rates are available and run lower per day than weekly. Storage containers rent monthly too. Tell us your move-in and move-out dates.
Do you service units during the rental?
Yes. Routine service is part of most rentals. Service frequency depends on how many people use the unit. For details on how often porta potties are cleaned, ask during your quote.
What about septic pumping?
We pump residential and commercial septic tanks. Most residential tanks are pumped every 3 to 5 years depending on tank size and household size. Call with your address and tank type and we'll give you a service estimate. We also handle grease interceptor pumping when fats, oils, grease and solids reach 25 percent of the liquid depth.
